Plomari Ouzo is dates back to 1894 and has grown today to be the national drink of greece and one of the most popular ouzos in southern Europe. The modern distillery prides itself on state-of-the-art equipment but still uses batch methods of distillation in pot stills. They grow their own aniseed and fennel to ensure the quality and taste of their historic recipe and it shows.
