Crafted by Jimmy Russell (Wild Turkey's Master-distiller), Wild Turkey Rare Breed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey lives up to its namesake. With a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley (all of which are non-genetically modified) this bourbon is a marriage of six, eight and twelve-year old bourbons that are milled and mashed with limestone-rich water which is then double distilled and aged in American oak casks that have been charred with a #4 char. Not only is this bourbon a rarity, but it's a true labor of love.
Notes: Rich, medium-bodied. Aromas of leather, spice and oak with flavors of orange, honey, caramel, nutmeg and vanilla.
