Founder, owner and winemaker Yoav Levy began Bazelet Hagolan Winery as a hobby. Today, nearly 11 years later he has succeeded in producing an exemplary collection of wines. Located in Moshav Kidmat Zvi in the Golan Heights Levy Bazelet Hagolan grapes are grown in volcanic basalt soil and high altitude vineyards. Unfiltered and aged 20 months in French and American oak barrels Bazelet Hagolan Reserve Merlot is a dry red wine with a rich mouth feel and finish.
