Golan Heights Winery is the pioneering winery of Israel, founded in 1983 in the small town of Katzrin, it is located high up on the Golan Heights. Over 35yrs later the winery remains at the forefront of Israeli wine producers and is accredited for being one of a few wineries to put Israel on the world wine map.
A prime example of this can be appreciated when indulging in a glass of Yarden El Rom 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon. Comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the El Rom Vineyard in the northern Golan Heights at an elevation of 3600 feet above sea level and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months to develop its rich layered character.
