Considered to be the staple of the Luce Collection, Tenuta Luce Red Blend is a marriage of Merlot and Sangiovese grapes and although that might sound simple, the palate isn't. Using only the portions of the vineyard most suited to the production of a very pleasurable wine with a fruity profile.
The result is a harmonious meeting point between the elegance and structure of Sangiovese, the indigenous grape variety of the Montalcino area and the roundness and fullness of Merlot. The wine is left to age for 2 years, 80% in New French Oak Barrels and 20% second use.
