An importer and producer of fine wines and artisanal spirits, Opici Wines and Spirits has been family owned and operated since its inception in 1913. Opici was run by Hubert Opici, who built the brand into the household name it is today.
Currently run by fourth generation, Don Opici, expanded the family portfolio to include more than 50 brands from around the world, such as Cesari, Carpineto, Luiano, and Viberti.
While the brand expanded they remained true to their roots with its iconic Opici label and their classic selection, including Opici Sherry.
Traditionally a cooking wine, Opici Sherry is produced using a similar production method to its European counterpart, but is more economical. Semi-dry in style, it has rich, over-ripe aromas accented by subtle floral and citrus notes and pleasant nutty nuances. The perfect addition to many soups and gravies or poached dishes. However, the rich flavors also make this a delicious aperitif when served chilled.
