After fighting as a young soldier for King Carlos V, the Count of Salinas settled in Villarrubia de los Ojos. It was there he built his Palace, which became the center of his lands. The fertile farmland of his estate still thrives and is known today as the “Huertos De Palacio." It's there that the ripe Tempranillo grapes are grown to produce the lush Huertos de Palacio Tinto Roble.
Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this wine is full-bodied and full of fruit and a touch of spice from its short stint (3 months) in oak barrels.
