This is a very classically-styled Ripasso. Brillant ruby red; scents of ripe blackberry, clove, tobacco, and licorice; full-flavored palate, velvety, crisp, and refreshing. The wine is aged in oak and this process had imparted background tones of vanilla and toasted nut.
