It was in 1883, that then local Inn owner, Abele Bolla decided to elevate his guests a more extravagant experience by offering them his homemade wine. Who knew that simple decision would lead to the Bolla Family empire of today. Using only what was available, Abele captured the essence of the Veneto region in each bottle.
From humble beginnings this brand has expanded to include over 20 varietals, among them Bolla Merlot. Made from 100% Merlot grapes, this expression undergoes a partial aging process for 4 months in both American and French oak barrels that exudes a savory palate with an exceptionally long finish.
