Joseph Carr was an award winning Sommelier and international wine industry executive before he set out to create his own tWinery in Carneros, California. It was there, he began the Josh Collection.
Josh Pinot Noir grapes are harvested early in the morning to capture the fresh fruit snap and then crushed, chilled and cold soaked for 48hrs. After fermentation the young wine was gently pressed from the skins and transferred to oak for 6-9 months where the wine takes on more mature flavors.
