It was back in 1863, when James Burrough began producing his own style of gin using nine essential botanicals (juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, coriander seeds, licorice, almonds, orris root, Seville oranges and lemon peel) to create the full-bodied and distinct flavors of Beefeater Gin. Nearly 160 years later the recipe and method remains unchanged; after all why mess with perfection?
