The Bomberger's Distillery legacy can be traced back to 1753, when two Swiss Mennonite farmers by the name of John and Michael Shenk began distilling rye whiskey on their farm near Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Today, the original distillery is considered a national landmark, but has since been taken over by Michter's. Dispite its legal battles, Bomberger's has stil managed to make a resounding bourbon with Bomberger's Declaration Bourbon. Crafted in order to pay homage to their roots this small batch 100 proof bourbon is aged in new charred oak barrels and is truly inviting with both sweet and spicy notes.
