What happens when a frenchmen produces whisky? You get a fusion of traditional Scotch whisky and French cognac. Crafted from barley that is cool-fermented utilizing two to three different strains of yeast, the mash is double-distilled to remove any impurities.

Brenne 10yr Old Single Malt Whisky is comprised of four different casks, each selected personally by Brenne’s founder, Allison Patel. Barrels #1 and #2 are lightly toasted ex-Cognac barrels, Barrel #3 contains whisky previously aged in both new and used oak barrels and Barrel #4 has a medium toast and is aged in new French Limousin oak.

This expression opens the eyes, nose and palate of whisky drinkers to new experiences that are proving to be quite adventurous and unique, but hardly a good option for a traditionalist.
