Did you know that the acclaimed house of DP was founded after Dom Pierre Perignon, a French Benedictine monk? Apparently the good word wasn't the only thing that the monk was devoted too.

His vision to create the best wine in the world was one of his side projects, while serving as Cellar Master at the sacred Abbey of Hautvillers in 1668.

Dedicated over 40 years to this mission and employing a daring approach to wine making, Perignon was blessed with a new name; the 'Father of Champagne' because he forged the principles for traditional Champagne production i.e. La Methode Champenoise or Traditionelle.
Today, the house stay loyal to their roots and use only the best grapes to from the most exceptional years to product their collection.

The perfect embodiment of a creation that elevates the mind and enlightens the world this champagne has a thickness and balance of flavors that can only be described as a masterpiece.
Which is partially due to the laborious process of spending at least eight years of aging in cellars. It's well worth the wait, as this Champagne is the quintessential sparkling wine.
