E&J’s roots stem back to the Gallo family tree with brothers Ernest and Julio Gallo. With over 30 years of wine making experience the two embrace their love for brandy and decide to create E&J. After five years of testing and tasting in their Fresno distillery, the duo finally came across their signature recipe that is still used to this day.
Distilled using California grown French Collombard, Folle Blanche, St. Emillion and early Barbera grapes. E & J V.S is blended using different ages from the finest white oak barrels to create layers and add bodied to the brandy. The result is a light bodied brandy with a crisp finish, which is what helps make E & J V.S. Brandy America's leading sellers.
