It was over 150 years ago that , Félix López began cultivating blue weber agave from Jalisco, Mexico. Since then, expert jimadores have been running the hacienda with the same techniques and pride that Lopez first instilled; a practice that is truly labor intensive, but well worth the wait.
Considered the crown jewel of the portfolio, Herradura Xtra Anejo 150th Anniversario was crafted to honor all the years of dedication from the Lopez family, but specifically to the entire Herradura Team that continued the tradition.
This limited production tequila is made from the finest Blue Weber Agave and aged in American White Oak barrels for 100 months ( a little over 8 years). A truly robust and sophisticated tequila that is matured to drink more like a cognac, this tequila is certainly something to savor slowly.
