The grapes used in Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon are unique as they are planted on a steep hillside, where the grapes are fighting the odds to survive; with sparse access to water and rockier soil that holds fewer nutrients only a few grapes actually mature and if they do they are of significantly smaller size.
So why do the winemaker's bother to plant the vines here? The result are grapes that are loaded with rich, ripe, intensely concentrated flavors and complexity.
