Harvesting their grapes from the volcanic terroir of Armavir helps produce a collection of wines that have highly concentrated flavors and pronounced textures. Additionally, the favorable volcanic soil allows Karas Wines to apply their sustainable and organic philosophy, which is in line with Bioma practices to ensure its vineyards are healthy and remain chemical additive free.
Among the collection one of our favorites is Karas Reserva Red Blend. This blend is comprised of hand harvested Syrah, Petit Verdot, Montepulciano, and Ancellotta grapes. Aged for 14 months in Armenian and French oak barrels, this wine offers complex and elegant flavors. Expect a well structured and balanced sip with sweet tannins and heavy notes of toasted wood.
