The most unique aspect of Kishor Vineyard isn't even the wine--it's the people who operate it. Located in the Galilee, Kishor Vineyards is owned and operated by people with special needs. With nearly 175 special needs employees at the helm Kishor Vineyards have not just advanced the world of special needs employment but has also propel Israel as a premiere winemaking region.
Among their collection is Kishor GSM, a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre grapes (which is what GSM stands for). Each varietal is hand harvested at the optimum ripeness to produce Kishor GSM. Separately fermented in stainless steel vats, the grapes were then pressed and transferred to oak barrels and aged for 10 months. It's only when they have reached optimal maturity that the grapes are blended and aged for another 6 months.
