A staple in Brazilian, Pitu Brazilian Cachaca is made of pure sugar cane. It is also known as "sugar cane schnapps," and where it is traditionally consumed neat or in the famed Caipirinha cocktail.
Using only the best available resources Pitu is distilled using the highest technical standards. The harvested green sugar cane is shredded into small pieces, then the chaff is removed and the product then mashed into a puree. Next, the mash is fermented and ready to be distilled so that the distillate has a high alcohol content.
