Introducing a sweeter option from Psagot Wineries, comes Psagot Prat. A fortified dessert wine made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Sirah grapes from several vintage years, this wine can be classified as a Kosher Port wine.
Harvested from the Judean Hills, the grapes are normally fermented and then reinforced by clean alcohol to stop the process to leave a natural residual aroma. A portion of the wine is then kept in old french oak barrels while the rest is left in stainless steel vats for 16 months. After they have matured the two wines are then mixed, filtered and bottled.
Notes: Sweet, medium-bodied. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, cranberry, coffee, and chocolate
Pairings: stuffed dates, soft cheeses, dark chocolate
Serving Suggestions: Chilled
Region: Israel
Alcohol Content: 17.5%
