Before the Armenian Genocide in the early 20th century, the Kaprielian ancestors owned 11 vineyards in Western Armenia. Based off of a childhood dream of one day reviving the family tradition on Armenian soil the new generation planted a stake in Artsakh on 30 hectares of land in Banadzor village near the south-eastern province of Hadrut.

Takri, which fittingly means “roots” in the Artsakh dialect, symbolizing the family’s return to ancestral origins.

Made from 80% Kangoun, 20% Rkatsiteli grapes that are hand harvested and hand sorted, Takri Classic White Wine is ready for immediate enjoyment and can accompany a variety of dishes.

Notes: Dry, medium-bodied. Aromas and flavors of peach, apricot and florals.
