The first release from Skye's new distillery in over 190 years, Torabhaig Legacy 2017 Single Malt Scotch is crafted on the western coast of Scotland.
Their goal was to create a distinctive character that capture the extraordinary surroundings. The result was an amber hued liquid that is peaty. Distilled from 100% concerto barley peated to between 55-60 ppm phenol and aged in first fill ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled without chill-filtration or coloring at an approachable 92 proof, this limited release consists of just 100 barrels that were distilled in the very first few months of operations.
