Villadoria Bricco Magno Nebbiolo is comprised of grapes that are carefully selected from the Langhe and Roero vineyards. The area comprises highly diverse territories and different soils, ranging from Alba limestone to the sandy soils of the Roero hills.
The handselected grapes are destemmed and then crushed very gently. Fermented in controlled temperature stainless steel tanks, the skins are left to soak with the juice for approximately 10 to 15 days, to give it its ruby hue.
The wine then undergoes delastage fermentation, which is the process by which the juice is oxygenated in order to extract phenolic compounds to produce a softer, less astringent wine. After which, the wine is placed in small oak barrels to age until it achieves the right desired aromas and flavors. The result is a full bodied, velvety, wine with a long lasting and harmonious finish.
Notes: Dry, Full-bodied. Aromas and flavors of violet, cherry, vanilla and cocoa
Pairings: Aged cheeses, mushroom risotto, lasagna
Serving Suggestions: Room temperature
Region: Italy
Alcohol Content: 13%
